📉📈 Market commentary for Wednesday November 4, 2026.

Yesterday’s Recap:

Yesterday was a little choppy for bonds, although the moves were never enough to put lenders at risk of repricing. Mortgage bonds lost ground after stronger-than-expected JOLTS data showed more job openings and quits, but rebounded as lenders set pricing, leaving most rate sheets largely unaffected.

Rate outlook for today...

Rate sheets today should be better as mortgage bonds start the day with some really nice gains as a solid blue wave sweeps the nation. Whatever your political outlook or affiliations, the reality is markets like what they’re seeing, and it’s helping rate sheets today.

Reprice risk on the day is low, and although bonds may get a little choppy again, it’s nothing to worry about.
