**Total Mortgage Applications: 1.5%** **▼** **Weekly**  
Overall application volume declined for the week ending September 18.

**Purchase Applications: 1%** **▼** **Weekly | 11%** **▼** **Year Over Year**  
Purchase activity softened, but buyers are still buying.

**Refinance Applications: 3%** **▼** **Weekly | Refi Share 39.3%** **▼** **from 39.4%**  
Nearly 4 out of every 10 mortgage applications are still refinances.

**Existing-Home Sales: 3.98 Million Annual Pace** **▼** **2.0% Monthly | 1.2%** **▼** **Year Over Year**  
Almost 4 million homes are still selling at an annualized pace. There is plenty of business to get your share of if you are doing the right prospecting.

**New-Home Sales: 684,000 Annual Pace** **▲** **6.4% Monthly | 2.0%** **▼** **Year Over Year**  
August sales improved from July’s revised 643,000 pace.
