Hi, I’m George. For more than 35 years, I’ve helped buyers navigate the mortgage process and put themselves in the strongest position to win the home they want. Ranked in the top 1% of loan officers nationwide, my team and I do more than provide a pre-approval. With our FastTrack Full Approval, we can complete much of the underwriting upfront, giving sellers greater confidence in your financing. When you make an offer, I’ll personally connect with the listing agent to reinforce the strength of your approval. With access to a wide range of loan programs and solutions, we can often find options when traditional financing falls short. Getting you approved is only part of the job. Helping you win the bid is the goal.

Mass General Brigham employees may be eligible for mortgage savings of up to $2,198.

If You Work for Mass General Brigham, Don’t Overlook This Homebuying Benefit

Working for Mass General Brigham comes with a long list of employee benefits. But there’s one that can be easy to overlook, especially if buying or refinancing a home isn’t something you’re thinking about every day.

Eligible Mass General Brigham employees may have access to mortgage savings of up to $2,198 through the MGB Affinity Benefit with The Koutsos Team at CrossCountry Mortgage.

And if you’re considering buying a home, refinancing, or simply trying to understand what you could afford, it’s worth knowing about the benefit before you start making decisions.

It’s More Than a Mortgage Discount

The savings are certainly valuable. But I don’t think that’s the most important part of the program.

For many MGB employees, buying a home in Greater Boston comes with challenges that are very specific to this market. Home prices are high. Competition can move quickly. Physicians and other medical professionals may have student debt or compensation structures that don’t always fit neatly into a traditional mortgage application. Some employees are first-time buyers. Others already own a home and are trying to figure out how to buy the next one before selling.

That’s where having a mortgage team familiar with both the benefit and the Boston-area housing market can make a difference.

Start With the Question You Actually Have

You don’t need to be ready to buy a house tomorrow to use us as a resource.

    Maybe you’re wondering:

How much could I comfortably afford?

    Do I need 20% down?

Can I buy before selling my current home?

How will my student loans affect what I qualify for?

Does it make sense to buy now or continue renting?

Are there mortgage programs specifically for physicians or medical professionals?

Those conversations can happen well before you start touring homes.

CrossCountry Mortgage offers conventional, FHA, VA, jumbo, physician, first-time homebuyer, temporary buydown, bridge, home-equity and other financing options, so the conversation doesn't have to begin by trying to fit everyone into the same mortgage. CrossCountry Mortgage

Already Own a Home? The Benefit May Still Matter

This isn’t necessarily just a first-time homebuyer conversation.

If you already own a home and are considering your next move, we can look at whether selling first makes sense or whether a Buy Now Sell Later, bridge or home-equity strategy could give you more flexibility.

And if you’re considering refinancing, we can run those numbers too.

The point isn’t to convince you that you should buy, sell or refinance. It’s to make sure you understand the options available to you and the benefit you may already have through your employer.

You Take Care of People Every Day. Let Us Take Care of This Part.

I’ve been helping families finance homes for more than 35 years, and our team has had the privilege of working with many employees throughout the Mass General Brigham community.

If you work for MGB and homeownership is something you’re considering, even if it’s still a year or two away, give me a call.

We can talk through where you are, what you’re hoping to do, and whether the Mass General Brigham Affinity Benefit can help.

Sometimes the best first step toward buying a home isn’t looking at houses.

    It’s finding out what’s possible.
