**One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is that buying a home requires perfect credit, a perfect job history, and a huge amount of money saved.**  
  
**The truth? Homeownership may be much more attainable than you think.**  
  
**Depending on the loan program and your individual situation, you may be able to purchase a home with a lower credit score than you expected. There are also programs that offer low down payment options—and in some cases, even zero down payment. And that “you need to be at the same job for two years” rule you may have heard? That isn’t always the case either.**  
  
**Every buyer’s situation is different, which is exactly why I believe it’s worth having the conversation before assuming you can’t qualify.**
