I've sold a lot of cabins around Sevierville, Tennessee, and sometimes you walk into one and think, "Well, somebody sure took good care of this place!" Lol. This was one of those cabins. Beautifully furnished, well cared for, and in a location that made it especially attractive in the Smoky Mountains. The owners had used it as their own personal rental rather than putting it on a rental management program, so there wasn't a rental history to hand somebody and say, "Here's what it'll make!" And that's something I've always believed in being upfront about. If you're buying a cabin for rental income, do your homework and run your numbers. But what I could tell buyers was that the cabin itself was beautiful, the furnishings were above average, and the location was hard to beat. Sometimes a property doesn't need a big sales pitch. It just needs somebody to walk through the door and see what makes it special.

It was the owner's personal rental and had never been on a rental program. It truly was a cabin to go see, and I can tell you this: the location is perfect.
